Cantores In Ecclesia Vocal Ensemble at Willamette University

All are invited to attend Cantores in Ecclesia’s evening concert of music by Josquin de Prez (c. 1450-1521), whose expressive musical style led to the development of the madrigal, a quintessential form of the Renaissance. The music will be interspersed with insightful commentary by Dr. Kerry McCarthy, one of the preeminent scholars on music of this period.
