Live-streamed video premiere from Mount Angel Abbey

The monks of Mount Angel Abbey are excited to share their new video, “Life Lived Abundantly: Benedictine Wisdom from Mount Angel Abbey,” an in-depth presentation of the Benedictine monks’ lives according to what Abbot Jeremy calls the “Seven Rich Ways” of Benedictine spirituality:  prayer, life together, deep reading, hospitality, life centered on the Eucharist, promoting of arts and culture, and caring for land and environment.

The video includes interviews with the monks, the premiere of a new seminarian-composed hymn to St. Joseph, and beautiful scenes of the hilltop and Benedictine Brewery, including spaces in the monastery not open to the public.

Proceeds from the video will go toward supporting the life and work of Mount Angel Abbey, which allows these rich ways to be continuously shared with the world.

Pre-show begins at 4:30 pm, followed by the video debut and ending with live-streamed Vespers.
