Our Lady of the Lake’s Social Justice Initiative invites all to learn of Black American Catholics who rose above racial injustice in their times to serve as heroes for all times. The remarkable lives of Venerable Father Augustus Tolton and Servant of God Sister Thea Bowman will be discussed by Father Chuck Wood, Jenett Akles, and Julie Onderko.
