Taizé prayer and soup supper in honor of St. Joseph

5:40-6:00 pm — Bring potluck items to Cantwell Hall (school cafeteria)
6:00 pm          –   Taizé music and prayer in the Church
6:45-8:00 pm — soup supper in cafeteria

The Holy Redeemer Parish community in Portland invites all to join in a celebration of St. Joseph’s feast day through prayerful song and a potluck style soup supper, inspired by the Sicilian “St. Joseph’s Table” tradition, which was an occasion for gathering in community and for giving alms to the poor.  Please also invite people who are struggling economically or feeling lonely and longing for community.
