Matt Willkom Appointed Executive Director of Mater Dei Radio in Portland, Oregon
Portland, OR — April 30, 2025 — Mater Dei Radio, a Catholic broadcasting apostolate serving the Pacific Northwest, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Willkom as its new Executive Director. With a rich background in Catholic media and a deep commitment to evangelization, Willkom brings a wealth of experience to lead the organization into its next chapter.
Prior to joining Mater Dei Radio, Willkom worked at Spirit Catholic Radio and most recently served as the Director of Programming and Network Development at Iowa Catholic Radio, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the network’s reach and enhancing its programming content. His dedication to spreading the Gospel through modern media platforms aligns seamlessly with Mater Dei Radio’s mission to lead souls to Jesus through the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Matt Willkom will build on the great progress Mater Dei has made over the last decade under the expert leadership of Patrick Ryan. Patrick will be handing over the reins to Matt over the next couple of months to ensure there is a seamless transition in leadership.
