Saint Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Beaverton

We are so excited to hop over to Beaverton and highlight the incredible parish of St. Cecilia’s, which many of our listeners call home! Learn more about this amazing community:

  • St. Cecilia’s was founded in 1913, and is one of the oldest and largest Churches in the Archdiocese of Portland.
  • Currently St. Cecilia’s serves over 2,000 families, and celebrates 5 Masses in English and 2 in Spanish on Sundays (see the full schedule below).
  • Pastor Fr. Mike Walker just celebrated 25 years as a priest! You can often hear him on our “Homily Highlight” feature on the Morning Blend.
  • The parish has been blessed with over 15 active ministries that serve the community.
  • St. Cecilia’s Parochial School has just over 300 students in Preschool to 8th grade. It is a vibrant, active, and tight-knit Catholic school!
  • The staff of St. Cecilia enjoys having a family style lunch together!

Pastor Fr. Mike Walker served espresso drinks to the parents on the first day of school!

  • This year’s Sacrament prep including kids, youth and adults has over 300 people whom the team will be evangelizing to.
  • Currently the Pastoral Team and Council is working to launch the Pastoral plan to the community which includes Encountering Jesus, Making Disciples, and Sharing the Good News.
  • The parish is actively fundraising for the Park and Play project to expand their parking lot and have a covered play area for the school children.
  • The parish is about to launch a Great Adventure Bible Study on the Gospel of Matthew!
  • St. Cecilia’s operates an active St. Vincent De Paul Pantry and Ministry.
  • The parish prayer shawl ministry meets monthly, and provides some beautiful prayer shawls for Mater Dei Radio’s Sharathons!

    • Sunday: 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:45 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM Spanish
  • Daily Mass Schedule
    • Monday through Saturday at 8:00 AM
  • Confessions on Saturday:
    • 8:40 AM to 10:00 AM
    • 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
