St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church, Portland

Our Parish for the Week of August 4

St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church

This week we are excited to feature Saint Andre Bessette Catholic Church, whose mission is “to proclaim Christ’s healing compassion in downtown Portland.” Learn more about their inspiring ministries, many of which are in the process of relaunching.

Saint Andre Bessette is staffed by priests from the Congregation of Holy Cross, recently welcoming pastor Fr. Randy Rentner and priest-in-residence Fr. Pat Hannon. Hear an interview with Fr. Randy Rentner!

Hospitality

Currently, Saint Andre Bessette offers two hospitality opportunities, one in the morning and one in the evening, each on different days and at different times.

Additionally, this ministry is serving at the door. The parish has a long term goal of bringing the hospitality service back in doors by November 2024. In order to make this happen, they will need to grow their Ambassador cohort and invites you to apply to volunteer if you would like to assist in making this happen. Please see the Ambassador page for more details on how to volunteer at St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church.
