The Grotto’s annual Christmas Festival of Lights

The Grotto’s Festival of Lights is known as the largest Christmas choral festival in the world, featuring more than 150 indoor holiday concerts in the Chapel of Mary. Over a million lights line the pathways and sparkle in the trees. Family entertainment in The Grotto’s plaza area includes outdoor caroling, puppet shows, and story times. Holiday foods and beverages will be available, as will seasonal shopping in the gift shop.

The Festival of Lights is a walk-through event and visitors can expect to walk approximately one-quarter mile. All entertainment areas are either indoors or tented, but visitors should dress for the weather. Average festival visitation times are between 60 and 90 minutes.

Tickets sold online and at the gate during the festival. Tickets are available at a variety of price points, including discounted admission during “value nights” (Nov. 27-30 and Dec. 4-7)

Parking is free, and there will be a free shuttle from the Parkrose/Sumner Park & Ride lot on busier nights.
