This week we are excited to feature Holy Family Catholic Church & School in SE Portland! This tight-knight parish family has 340 families in the church and 215 families in the school. Led by pastor Fr. Rodel de Mesa, this parish strives to build connections in the wider neighborhood community.

Parish Mission Statement:

Holy Family Catholic Parish is a welcoming faith community grounded in gospel values and dedicated to making God known to all who enter our doors. We foster positive relationships with God and one another through a life of stewardship, and active participation in the ministries of worship, education, service, and community.

School Mission Statement:

Holy Family Catholic School is a community of learners: students, staff, parents and parish, engaged in the life-long process of learning. Our commitment, rooted in the Gospel values, is to promote creativity and excellence in all areas of spiritual, academic and personal growth.

  • St Vincent de Paul, serving 450 families per year plus 100 families in Christmas Food Box program, provide rent & utility assistance to 20-30 families
  • Knights of Columbus
  • Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound ministry
  • Rosary makers
  • Prayer circle of 200+ parishioners
  • Women’s monthly day of recollection
  • Trail Life & Young Ladies Institute
  • Just Older Youth (JOY) 50 +
  • Altar Society
  • CYO
  • Social events like Oktoberfest, coffee and donuts, wine and cheese
  • Bible discussion
  • Needleworks ministry
  • Sports league for adults like volleyball, pickleball, basketball

  • Saturday at 5:30 pm
  • Sunday at 8:30 am & 10:30 am
  • Wednesday at 9:15 am
  • Thursday and Friday at 12 pm
  • Confessions Saturday 5 – 5:30 pm
